This year has started out with a bang for Lisa and I. Although we're across the country from each other, we make sure to email or phone a bunch of times during the week to make sure we're on track.
Training started more seriously in January for us both. We joined triathlon clubs, that have drop-in coached sessions to include training on bike, swim and running. Cross-training keeps it fun and works different muscle groups. I got "The Anatomy of Cycling" book for Xmas, and apparently we need to work the most random muscles to avoid pain and injury when biking long distances.
Today I ran 11 km with Karin, and I could tell that the last month of training really helped with Cardio endurance.
